BR:2-5 Gulliver's Travels

"A place called Lilliput," said Gulliver and he showed the captain his souvenirs. [p.62]

I had read this story when I was a kindergartener. This story was made into a movie a few years ago. Now, I read it again and studied about this writer a little bit. This story was written by Jonathan Swift, he was a famous writer. He described the relation between the England and France on the story.

I think Gulliver’s feeling was like a foreigner when he arrived at the country small people living. Because it is different all things’ size we think. And then it was birth the difference of thinking. I have been to US once last summer vacation. I felt the difference of culture of life style. Maybe He felt the feeling like me.
And then Lilliput was described England at then. I think this story was described well the time of relation between the England and France. And then it was criticized the relation by using this story.

This story is funny and interesting for children but it is described the criticism about a few things. I think that it isn’t good for children but adult.
