I send e-mail for my host family, but I can't receive them reply yet. I'm worried that my homestay life on this summer vacation. Were there bad points in this letter? Please tell me.

Dear my host family

　Hi, thank you for accepting me on this summer vacation. I’m deeply grateful to you! My name is Hiromi Shimozono.Please call me Hiromi.

Iwould like to know about your family. How many people are composed of yourfamily? My family is a father, a mother and younger sister. My father is Yoshihiro, he is an architect. My mother is Misuzu, she has a part time job. Mysister is Emi, she is a second grade high school student. She goes to the private girl’s high school. I go to Kumamoto Gakuen University. My parent’s house is in Miyazaki, but I live in Kumamoto alone now. So I am sad because I live apart from my family. I go to school in Kumamoto to study English hard.

What do you like to do? I like cooking, but I can’t cook very well. If I may, I’dlike to cook something with you. Please let me help housework with you. I’dlike to cook something Japanese dishes someday. As far as foods, I’m not fan ofperishables such as the liver, so if you served it, I couldn’t eat it. I’m sorry.

I’m looking forward to see your family, but I can’t speak English very well. So I’m worried that I can’t talk well with you, but I do my best. I’d like to know about your family. If you have time, please reply me. Thank you!!

Pygmalion

 I studied “Pygmalion” written by George Bernard show, so I would like to write its impression.
  Higgins, a professor of phonetics who studies the dialect runs into Eliza selling flower on the downtown. Then, he betided on Eliza can be excellent Lady with his friend. He was charming without knowing it through training of phonetics.

 I watched this movie, I would like to state 2 points. One is the use of different words by the difference in social standing. Another is the influence of language in identity. 

 First, I would like to state the former. This had been affected by the background of the era. In this era, the ruling classes like that nobles and churchman had done a political marriage or politics in the international society over the country. So they can use the correct way of speaking to do good administration. However, the lower classes hadn’t had a chance to join their politics. So their language was affected by their lifestyle and characteristic of area. This is why, it’s no use causing by the way of speaking in each classes.

 Next, I would like to state the influence of language in identity. Are people who can use the way of the correct pronunciation, human greater and more excellent? Or, are people who can’t use it, inferior to others. In this movie, was she able to be great Lady to pronounce the correct way of language? I don’t think so. Making personality of Eliza is rather talking by using word that she can’t pronounce very well and was affected by own emotion than she uses word that she was instilled formal language and behave. If everyone behave formal and use perfect pronunciation word, they have only one identity and emotion.

 This is why, I think that people can’t express the genuine identity if they would use formal language and behave or became a perfect Lady. (316/6752 words)

Vacation plans

  I’m going to go abroad to study English for a month on this summer vacation. I have wanted to go abroad since I had studied English for the first time. So, I’m glad to grant my dream. My host family is Curl and Elizabeth. I send them e-mail, but I don’t receive their reply yet. So, I’m worried about my homestay life. But, I’ll try to talk them positively to get along with them. I can’t speak English fluently and don’t have enough English skill, so I must study English very hard for about a month until July 22th. I have a lot of uneasiness, but I’m looking forward to go to Minesota. (113/6436 words)

About blogging

 I wire blog by using English now. It is hard for me to write it because I have a part time job and I live alone in Kumamoto. So, I have always a lot of things to do and I don’t enough time to write it. However, I must write it to take 2 unites in WritingⅢ・Ⅳ. So, I write it while making use of a little bit time. I think that it is useful for me to improve my English skill by writing blog in English. I’m worried that I have written it without noticing any grammatical mistakes. Essays 1-02c: you will enjoy about KGU life

We introduce my university. We commute to Kumamoto Gakuen University. There is in Kumamoto. It is the most biggest university in Kumamoto. 6631 people attend to go it. This is four departments, and the Faculty of Commercial Science and the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Faculty of Social Welfare. There are fifteen course of study into four departments. There has many great teachers, they are specialist each field of study.



First, We would like to talk to you about Eibei Gakka. Eibei Gakka has various devices to improve our English skill. For example, ALC is learning word site. We study many word for it. It is interesting for us to remember about English word. Please you try it, so you will learn many words. Anything else, second year students in Eibei should write many essay and upload to blogger for us essay. We should write 10000 word in spring semester. We can’t it, but we learn great skill for writing.



Second, We teach you about English Lounge. The space is communicated with an international student and native speaker of instructor in English. Only the students manage English Lounge, and If you go to there, you should speak in English. You should not speak Japanese. It hold many event, for example Christmas party and Halloween party. You should do see a English Lounge. You can be to get along with many friends.



Third, Kumamoto Gakuen University has many good places. There are alot of places to eat foods and drinks. For example, Lawson, Bakery, student dining hall. We want to teach you Bakery. Bakery is in 12 center. I often go to there. We like there, because there are many kinds of bread. Our friends and we like bread. Our favorite bread is Mentai bread. It is very delicious. Do you know it? We want to eat it. If you eat it, you never forget its taste.



Fourth, we teach you student dining hall. It has a lot of various foods and drink. There are a lot of kinds of vending machines expect student dining hall menus. We often use there because we are looking forward to choose various foods. And then, price is much cheap for our student. So, it is easy for us to buy foods and drink in there. we like Tantanmen is the best in student dining hall menu. It is a little hot and moderate quantity for us. So we recommend girls too. Student dining hall is between Kenkyu-tou and Library.



Fifth, there are a lot of places to use PCs in this university. For example, library, e-campus center, PC’s rooms of 1 building and so on. So, all students have many chances to use PCs. we are always in trouble then because We don’t have a printing machine in our house when our classes’ professors gave us homework which has to use PC and print out it. But, there are a lot of places to use PC and a printing machine in this university, so We are always helped them. And, PCs in this university have all softs to useful for us to learn English, extracurricular class, many English dictionary and so on. These softs are very useful for us. We often use them. If we get a job, we would have many chances to use PCs to make a plan for our work. Please use places to use PCs for you in the future.





Sixth, We have favorite space in Kumamoto Gakuen University. This is a library. Our university's library is very wide. There are many books. We don't know what to have it. we can't read all books until graduation day. We will read anything in my power. We often go to there to study. The many of students make use of it during examination week. It was crowded packed to overflowing with students. We will go to there next examination days. The library is very silently, because all students want to read in a silently space. We hope it.



Seventh, there are many kind people in this university. When we are in trouble, people who are around us gave us some advices. We are belonging to Eibei Gakka, there are many kind people in Eibei Gakka. So We love them. We often plane girl’s party on about two months. So you don’t need to worry about human relationship. Probably, you can make good friends soon.



Eighth, everyone is good friends each other. We are also belonging to Circle.We like 8 center. That because there is in our friends. 8 center has circle's room. Our circle are a study group culture assets and a study group economic circle.All member are very kind too. Kumamoto University has many kind of circles. The 3 individual of a combination to circle and couture and Gakusho. We join Gakusho. I like Gakusho, beause many peoples kind of me. We are happy! Gakusho has many circles, for example, a study group hospitality and economy and marketing and children and society etc... We want to join Gausho. If you join in, you will get many friends.
　　
This is why, there are many good points in this university. But these are only a part of all. We want to talk food points in this university for you. We wish you send enjoyable days in this university.

About my Keitai

  I have used i-phone when I was a 3rd great high school student. I had had a keitai of Softbank but I bought i-phone because I think it is so cool that person using it. However I'm not good at using electric machines so I needed to have long time to handle i-phone. I can handle it than before. I think i-phone is very useful for my life than Keitai. I can know some information by using i-phone. I always use them and send my comfortable life than before. (89/5311 words)

BR:1-12 NARNIA -the lion, the Witch and the wardroe

“He asked Peter to help him lead the creatures of Narnia against the White Witch.”[p.27]

 I had watched movie of Narnia. I was able to feel the bonds of family through this movie. Pevensie brother could win the White Witch group and take back peace of Narnia because they fought the White Witch group while protecting and having one of the minds each other.

 I think that it is important to take care of family as partners have a lifetime together. So, I do my best for my family as I possible, if they would be trouble with something.

 In this story, I like Lucy. She is very cute and quite considerate for others. I like the most scenes is helping Mr. Thumus of her friend in spite of he betrayed her promise. I think she is a broad-minded person, so I respect her.

 I had ever watched all Narnia series. I like them. I want to watch them again because I read this story and it makes me such a feeling.
