“I must
carry on, he thought.” [p.45]
When I
read this story, I thought that the emperor suffered for people because he didn’t
involve in politics and he only chose various his favorite’s clothes. The
nation was always in trouble by his inaccurate attitude for politics. So the emperor
was tricked by two swindlers and he was embarrassed in front of the nation.
I think
emperor as person who is involved in politics directly should think seriously
about own nation and improve their lives more comfortable. If the emperor would
not do these things, he doesn’t have a right as an emperor.
The emperor’s
new clothe makes us think it is important for us that people should considerate
and think seriously each other.
